The first thing I cooked in my first dutch oven was braised beef in a wine sauce. I wanted something that would really take advantage of those self-basting spikes! Delish.
Ooh I'd do a classic pot roast! I love how the dutch oven matches all your cute handsewn kitchen accessories!
