He spent the next day wiring the lights. Good thing we studied circuits in college. He had to work in the dark with a flashlight. We had to turn the power off so he doesn't get zapped, so I was pretty miserable without tv or internet.

My kitchen was an unbelievable mess!

Saturday morning, we ran to Home Depot one last time to pick up some light bulbs and exchange the switch for another. Man, they are expensive. It's $10 for 2 lights. We got 6" and 4" ones. Here's the demolition area!

Ah, spic and span again! Those curtains are NOT mine! They were there when we bought the house. I just haven't changed them yet. I'll do that after I paint.
