Our First Place

Can you believe it's been 3 months since I last posted in our home blog? I had a really tough semester at school and at work which prevented me from anymore home improvements. As my AE professor would said, "Good. That means I am doing my job." Now, I am actively wedding planning and I squeeze in blogging when I can.

I did take pictures of the house through the changing seasons. In the fall, we had sooooo many leaves to rake! Fortunately, it was only in the front yard and not in our massive back yard.

The best part about having a cozy home to yourself is making it festive for Christmas. We did some minimal decorating this year since we're saving for other things. Once we brought the tree home, decorating became an addiction. We bought a real tree. I read we have to water it every 8 hours. Good luck with that!

After rearranging the living furniture 4 times, we finally found a comfortable spot for the tree and began decorating.

Do you all remember my peony bush that I was so proud of? Well it's bald now, but hey atleast it has accessories!
